RoseMarie Koppe
IPF National Coordinator
RoseMarie has 30 years experience as a Class Teacher, Learning Support Teacher and Special Education Consultant. She has post-graduate qualifications in Applied Linguistics and a Research Masters in Education – Indigenous Education. She has worked specifically as a consultant in Indigenous education providing professional development for educators across all education sectors.
RoseMarie has been highly involved in the development of policy, the writing of teacher resources and driving research particularly in the area of Indigenous children’s English language development. She has been involved in the Indigenous Parent Factor (IPF) Program from its early development through to its current nationally recognised success.

Nanette Cummings
Office Support
Nanette joined the IPF team in October 2010 as our part-time Office Support person.
She was APC’s first Indigenous employee.
Nanette grew up and has spent most of her adult life in Brisbane. She has close family living in Palm Island and her kinship ties are to the Mabuiag Island peoples in the Torres Straits and to Aboriginal peoples of the Cooktown, Qld and Tenant Ck, NT regions.

Jenni Curtis
Indigenous Area Coordinator WA (North)
Jenni is from Western Australia and a proud Noongar woman through her fathers mob from Pingelly WA. She is connected to the Nyikina people from Derby WA through her great grandmother and her grandmother who was born at Liveringa station .
Jenni was bought up in the WA wheatbelt areas and has lived in the Perth metro area for the past 16 yrs.
Jenni has been in education for the last 14years as an Aboriginal Education Officer and then as an Attendance Officer before joining the IPF team.
She is married with 2 children and lives in Lesmurdie, Perth, W.A.

Narelle Hansen
Indigenous Area Coordinator WA (South)
Narelle is a proud Noongar woman from the Barladong / Wilman clan. She is the great-granddaughter of Doorum who inspired his descendants to know and appreciate who they are, what they are and where they come from.
She has a strong sense of her cultural and spiritual heritage and find strengths in both.
Narelle’s father’s family are Wadjella and she appreciates his and their knowledge. Narelle’s partner is from Sri Lanka and they have a 9 year old son.

Pauline Deweerd
Indigenous Area Coordinator NSW (Coffs Harbour)
Pauline joined the IPF in May 2011. Pauline is a proud Yuin lady, born in Sydney and raised on the far South Coast of NSW. Pauline finished her education and commenced employment in Armidale NSW with the Australian Government for the past 26 years. Pauline was responsible for the service delivery, policy development and implementation of Indigenous programs across NSW and ACT to improve education and employment outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Pauline has very close personal and professional connections across all parts of NSW through the roles that she has undertaken through her work and the communities she has lived. She is looking forward to continuing these partnerships and relationship through the IPF.
